The short version
Every tool on this site — JSON, text, and PDF utilities alike — runs entirely in your browser. When you paste text or select a file, it is processed on your device using JavaScript; it is never uploaded, transmitted, or stored on any server operated by this site. You can verify this yourself: disconnect from the internet after the page has loaded, and every tool still works.
This page explains, in more detail, exactly what limited data is collected, by whom, and why.
What we don't collect
We do not operate a backend server for the tools themselves. There are no user accounts, no file uploads, no server-side logs of what you paste or convert, and no way for us to see the content you process with any tool on this site.
Analytics
We use GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly analytics service, to understand aggregate traffic (e.g. how many people visit, which pages are popular). GoatCounter does not use cookies and does not track individuals across sites. It records anonymized, aggregate information such as page views, referrers, and browser/device type — never anything you type or paste into a tool.
Fonts
This site loads the Inter typeface from Google Fonts. Loading a font this way means your browser makes a direct request to Google's servers, which will see your IP address and browser information as part of that request, per Google's privacy policy. No content from this site's tools is involved in that request.
Advertising
We intend to display advertisements on this site, served through Google AdSense or a similar network, to help cover the cost of running it. When active, these networks may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can learn more about how Google uses this data, and opt out of personalized advertising, at Google Ads Settings. Advertising, if and when enabled, is entirely separate from the tools themselves — it has no access to anything you paste, upload, or generate on this site.
Cookies
The tools and core site do not set cookies. A small amount of data — your light/dark theme preference, and which tools you've marked as favorites or used recently — is saved locally in your browser's localStorage, which stays on your device and is never transmitted anywhere. If advertising is active, the ad network may set its own cookies as described above.
Third-party links
Some pages link to third-party sites (for example, GoatCounter or Google's own policy pages). We aren't responsible for the privacy practices of sites we don't control — please review their policies directly.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. Since no accounts or personal data collection exist on this site to begin with, this is largely academic — but it's stated here for completeness.
Changes to this policy
If what this site collects or how it's collected changes — for example, when advertising goes live — this page will be updated, and the "Last updated" date above will reflect that.
