Why this exists
I built TextAndPDF.com because I was tired of the usual online-tool experience: pick a simple task like validating some JSON or merging two PDFs, land on a page buried in intrusive ads, and — more often than not — hand over a file to some server with no real idea what happens to it afterward. None of that is necessary for tools this small. A browser can already do the work.
So every tool here runs entirely client-side. Nothing you paste or upload is ever sent anywhere. You can check this yourself in your browser's network tab, or just disconnect from the internet after the page loads — every tool keeps working.
Who's behind it
I'm Pranith, an independent developer. I build and maintain this site myself — there's no company, no team, no funding round behind it. It started as a handful of tools I wanted for my own work and grew from there.
How it's funded
The site is free to use, with no account or sign-up required for anything. It's supported by advertising, which is what keeps it free rather than putting tools behind a paywall. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what that involves.
What's next
